Welcome to Inner Seasons Acupuncture

I offer gentle acupuncture to support your health and wellbeing through life’s many changes. Treatments are designed to address both physical and emotional aspects of your health, while giving you the space to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with your body.

People come for many reasons - from managing physical symptoms to finding steadiness during challenging times, or simply creating space for rest and rebalancing. While I have a particular interest in women’s health and mental health, I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, offering thoughtful, whole-person care in a calm and welcoming space.

Hi, I'm Imogen...

a qualified acupuncturist and the founder of Inner Seasons Acupuncture. I found acupuncture while looking for more natural and holistic ways to support my own health, and alongside relief from symptoms, I was amazed by how quickly I began to feel more at home in my own skin.

That experience sparked a deep fascination with Chinese Medicine and its seasonal, whole-person approach to health. Today, my work is shaped by both my training and my lived experience, and I’m passionate about creating a treatment space where people feel truly heard, safe, and supported as their bodies find their way back towards balance.

Acupuncture is a traditional system of medicine that has been used for thousands of years to support health and wellbeing. It works by gently stimulating specific points on the body using very fine, sterile needles, encouraging the body’s own natural healing responses and helping restore balance.

From a Chinese Medicine perspective, acupuncture helps to regulate the flow of energy (often called Qi) throughout the body. When this flow is disrupted, symptoms can arise both physically and emotionally. By working with carefully chosen acupuncture points, treatment aims to ease symptoms, support underlying imbalances, and help the body move back towards a state of harmony.

Modern research also suggests that acupuncture can influence the nervous system, circulation, and the release of the body’s natural pain-relieving and calming chemicals. Many people find treatments deeply relaxing and therapeutic.

What can acupuncture help with?

Acupuncture can support a wide range of health concerns and is often used alongside conventional medical care. People commonly seek acupuncture for support with:

  • Stress, anxiety, low mood, and emotional wellbeing

  • Sleep problems and fatigue

  • Digestive issues

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Musculoskeletal pain, including back, neck, and shoulder pain

  • Hormonal and menstrual concerns

  • Fertility, pregnancy, and menopausal support

  • General wellbeing, resilience, and balance

You don’t need to have a specific diagnosis to benefit from acupuncture - many people come simply because they feel out of balance or need support during a period of change.
